V5.0.0 (246) - Crashes

@Corjan-Meijerink The last few builds have been stable for me but with Build 246 today I had four crashes during a 160 mile (257km) trip today. Wireless CarPlay connection remained active during the MRA App crashes and I had no other problems with other apps on CarPlay.

Using iOS 26.1 on iPhone 15 Pro with wireless CarPlay on a Chigee AIO-6 LTE. A Remotek One was also being used but no buttons were being pressed on the Bluetooth controller at the time of the crashes. Indeed, I had no problems with the Remotek One function although the app was open on the iPhone (whilst stowed in the bike’s dedicated phone pocket and charging) to enable the Remotek device’s functionality. This set up has not changed from previous builds.

The first two crashes seemed to be connected with low signal as I was in the depths of mid-Wales’ valleys. Maybe with the app automatically going offline maps was the trigger but it is difficult for me to say as the my phone is stowed away and charging when I use the Chigee.

The second two crashes happened with reasonable signal but I could not initially recover the map on the CarPlay display in the app despite it being shown on the iPhone. The issue was resolved by restarting the Chigee and the app a couple of times.

I do have the app logs from today should they be needed.

Feel free to create a support ticket with the logs included. No changes have been made since the first beta of version 5 that could easily explain this.
