MRA 5.0-426 Compass Dynamic disappears ?
-
Sorry, but there is still an error!
Yes, currently + and - zooming is okay, it works now, also zooming to +Max without problems.
But there is still a problem, as soon as I press the controller buttons for gifting for up, down, right or left, we cross out the compass and the position leaves the card because the card is not traced. Only when I click with my finger on the compass it goes back to another mode.
That should not be the case, because the driver's hand should remain on the handlebars.
Stand von 7.11.25

@Hubert-Thoring what else would you expect to happen? You move the map so obviously we won’t track your position.
Your controller will have a button to reset the focus.
Or something is lost in translation but I do not see an issue

@Corjan-Meijerink ; I'm comparing version 4.4.1 (408) on my navigation-equipped iPhone XR with version 5.0 (426) on my regular iPhone XR.
Sorry, but version 4.4.1 doesn't have the controller issue. The compass remains active, isn't crossed out, and when panning up, down, left, or right, the MRA Navigation app automatically re-centers the map after a few seconds. That always worked well.
In version 5.0 (426), the compass is crossed out (see image) as soon as I pan up, down, left, or right, just as described in version 5.0 (424) when using +Max Zoom.
Sorry, but the new version is missing what the old version did so well: automatically re-centering the map after a few seconds.
Best regards

Question: Could the missing automatic centering after swiveling also have something to do with the speed traveled and the deviation, because I've only walked the route a few hundred meters to test it...
-
It will still automatically recenter while driving (after a few seconds).
The crossed out compass icon simply did not exist in the previous versions so that wasn't something you could see.
Edit: so yes, speed can definitely be a factor

@Corjan-Meijerink :
I just tested it with my fast omafiets, then the automatic centering also works!!Sorry that I disturbed you with that now.
