Non working LTE (but connected) connection causes MRA unable to launch or behave crazy
-
Today, I noticed, that MRA isn't able to start, when you have a connected LTE connection, but which does not work. This is in my case caused, because it's a prepaid connection and I forgot to add some data plan, because the last one expired. Technically, a LTE connection is made by the phone, but carrier blocks any traffic on it.
Android itself also shows correctly the LTE connection with an exclamation mark, which means no working connection. Google Apps, like Play Store, correctly detect this, and report that there is no internet connection possible. Custom Apps like Apple Music also report no working internet connection. MRA seems completely to fail. Instead of launching, it only shows for half of a second the MRA starting screen and afterwars a white or black screen (really just a complete empty white or black display) and nothing happens anymore. If I do disable LTE connection, MRA starts correctly in offline mode.
@Corjan-Meijerink This seems to be a bug. Since I can reproduce this, maybe you could please have a look?
This state seems also massively affect MRA, because when I do launch MRA with disabled LTE connection and re-enabled it later, it seems to become crazy. For example it starts complaining in an endless loop, that it cannot recalculate the route, still I am even driving on route. The next gasoline marker also freezes completely. I suspect, this all boils to this down, that MRA seem to get stuck in detected the internet, but doesn't got into offline mode in this state, but should do it.
