Map zoom in CarPlay

The zoom factor is not adjusted correctly when driving slowly and approaching a motorway junction:
My setting is set to On (for both).

This seems correct. The main reason for this “issue” is that the junction is no part of the route so it seems as the upcoming instruction is still 35km away.

Therefore we have no way to detect a zoom in is required.

One additional question, is the zoom factor not dependent on speed?
When I drive <50km/h on highway it should zoom more in, or?

with the 'speed' limit zoom enabled, what is the value at which the zoom 'should' start to work?
