MRA 5.0 now without OSM search why

Hey you,

I miss the easy view of the OSM map !!!

-In the simple search on a map of the Navi App it was in the V4.x the OSM map which is great in its accuracy and thus of great value to see more accurate information of the roads and exact details incl. fine things in the exact place.

• With the V5.0 the OSM and also the other cards are missing, they no longer exist, only the HERE card which is very weak.

Why is that so?

I find this a very big disadvantage ..

As I understand from Corjan’s opening post, this is by design.

Home screen
The biggest change is the new home screen. A nice clean look and feel with instant access to our most important features. Using the HERE maps throughout the entire application means that everything is now also available offline

Yes, but access to OSM maps, yes, even if only limited online, would be very helpful for certain applications because the OSM maps contain much more detailed information.

It helps a lot to fix a goal and the environment exactly!!!

I think that will be missed by some users who just quickly look for a route from A to B.

That's a real shame for the excellent OSM map view. It all follows the new development and system constraints in MRA for the new version MRA 5.0...

Okay: Here we go again!

Solution:
Then you have to switch to the MRA Route Lab to be able to use better map content on-site and on the go on your phone. That's no problem for me, but maybe for new app users. Unfortunately, the HERE map isn't as clear.

@Corjan-Meijerink , ik lees dat de OSM- kaart niet meer terug komt in de app, ik gebruikte deze voor het wandelen daar staan ook de paden op, zoals op de Holterberg en de Veluwe en overige wandelroutes, maar mountainbiker paden, Of komt er een andere kaart voor in de plaats

@G.Grote-Ganseij OSM kaarten voor wandelen / fietsen gaan er zeker weer komen.
Beter gezegd, ik heb het vandaag afgemaakt.
Echter werkt het door een probleem in de HERE software nog niet zoals verwacht waardoor ik het nog niet kan releasen

Maar! Komt er dus zeker op termijn wel weer aan.
