Two moans and a question.
-
Why,Oh why does this still happen.Loss of voice prompts, this has happened several times previously. Volume is turned up, voice prompts are enabled and Android auto was not being used at the time.
Two three times a year I lead a small group on a road trip, most recently The Route des Grandes Alpes and on two separate occasions whilst concentrating on the mountain roads I have missed a junction because of lack of voice prompts. This leads to embarrasing U turns or deviations. All the group members know that I use MRA and unsurprisingly, are not impressed. These glitches seem to occur after navigation is paused.Moan number two, is roads being shown as closed when they are not. Google and Waze know that they are not closed but MRA creates huge unneeded detours. I realise that this may be due to seasonal road closures but it seems that if the route is created without disabling this function it can't be changed without re drawing the route.
Finally a question, my current car is the first I have had with Android Auto however its usefulness is limited when using MRA because of the horizontal orientation of the screen which means that only a small section of the route is shown. Is there a way around this?

@ferrand24gmail.com, Your first "moan" I really do not recognize. Can you check your version number please? (in startscreen, click menu button top left, click profile icon top right, scroll down completely to read the version number).
Concerning your second "moan"
I think no-one will deny that Googles traffic and closure info is much better then HERE's. You can however change the avoid option for closures during the start of your route. Also, the setting used for planning will be imported for use with Navigation.
About your question, yes, I recognize that. The settings from within the app though are also working for AA/CP though. However the resulting images are really incomparable concerning zoomlevel and things like that. Internally I have been proposing a separate set of screen setting values for AA/CP, and maybe also for landscape in the native app (the same problem there). We will see if that request ever get's honored, because I can also understand that it will introduce many extra parameters which make the learning curve steeper.
