ZOOM Function

Just yesterday (21 July) I encountered that as well, on the newly updated v4.2.0 - 321, using the app on my iPhone on a very simple A-B route (motorcylce).
Pic 1 - 80 ft from turn....NO ZOOM
Pic 2 - 0.7 mi from turn....to compare
Pic 3 - 400 ft from turn....no ZOOM
Pic 4 - 0.3mi from a turn...IN A TOWN...no ZOOM.
All of these pics were with Automatic Zoom Correction set to ON....should have been utilizing both speed and distance...nothing...with Zoom Correction at ++
Then tried each individually (speed, distance) and even changed correction to +-, and +....NOTHING.
And to add insult to injury, the route line is so damn thick that EVEN if you had to read an upcoming side street to get your bearing for the actual turn, YOU CAN'T. Luckily, I was in a very familiar, to me, area, and not a city I am not familiar with.
Appears to be a serious issue with zoom - will this be corrected?
