Some parts not imported from GPX12 Route,Track,POI.
-
I have some GPX V1.2 files, which are made in MRA, which contain Track, Route and POI information. Also information is added to waypoints. This information is build during planning of the route.
On importing these GPX V1.2 files as a TRACK, only the Track is imported from the files. This seems to be an obvious choice, I imported it as a track. This method loses the (hard) Waypoints including the underlaying information like text, notes, icon and pause times as well as the POI. Understandable. This makes the track usable for ALL systems: start- and endpoint and all trackpoints stay available.
On importing these GPX V1.2 files as a ROUTE, you would expect as much data to be imported from the file to the route as is available. It imports the route and the POI.
But it fails to import:- The Track. Looks obviously, since I import als a Route, but the gpx also contains a track too. Why not import the track as well, or make it an option on import? This would be a Route-Track line in MRA. Could do no harm imho, is there a reason?
- The starting Date/Time of the route is not imported, but is in the GPX <rte>part trp:DepartureTime.
Other missing items like Colors, pauze times and notes will not be imported because they simply are not available in the gpx definition.
Keep up the good work!
