MRA - App and booking.com - issue
-
I'm going on a longer trip on my motorcycle these days. The route is planned with MRA and I also have it on my cell phone (iPhone 12). As we haven't planned by the day but by sections, because we don't know how long we'll need on which route, e.g. because of sights, breaks, weather etc., we haven't booked any accommodation. MRA has a very nice function that allows you to call up booking.com at a waypoint and search for accommodation in the vicinity of the waypoint using booking.com (https://unterstutzung.myrouteapp.com/nl/support/solutions/articles/12000021036-anleitung-hotel-über-myroute-app-buchen-). Unfortunately, this only works properly in the WEB version. In the cell phone version of MRA, the waypoint data is not transferred and only the web version of booking.com is called up (instead of the app on the cell phone). So this function is absolutely useless for me on my cell phone. Am I doing something wrong or is there a solution?
Thanks for your help

@Josef-Lohr Hi. Just tried it on my Android. It is even worse. I just get an errormessage with the underlying http - link. When I copy the link into a browser, it opens Booking.com website but ignores coordinates. This feature is at the moment useless on Android as well.

@Josef-Lohr, The planning function in the app is not more tan an embedded view to the website. Functions like the "find hotel" are simply not developed as an in-app-feature.
Devs are working on an app-native planning module that will replace the embedded web-view in due time. I can imagine that it will handle the booking.com feature much better. I can't give you an ETA though...
