    Hi,

    I got this mail from TomTom this morning:

    Look forward to a new TomTom device
    We have discovered that your current sat nav is not compatible with the latest TomTom map update and needs to be replaced. It's been a while since your Rider 550 was last updated. Roads change all the time, so we are constantly updating our maps.

    But don't worry: we have the right hardware upgrade for you to get you to your destination even easier and faster. To make the change easier for you, we're offering an exclusive 35% discount.

    If you follow the Link, you get the current Rider 550 without any discount.
    I have already a Rider 550.

    What is going on at TT?

    I no longer understand this corporate policy.

    Good that I changed to MRA. 👍
    I hope it will stay longer. 😊

    Hardware
    iPhone 12 pro (iOS 17.0.2)
    Oukitel RT3 (Andr. 12)
    Samsung Galaxy XCover 4 (Andr. 9 Pie)
    Wireless CarPlay mit (Elebest C650)
    Wired CarPlay (SEAT Arona - 2021)

      @Jörgen
      I've heard Tom Tom doing this a lot over the last few years. Not really great when people spend north of £300 to get their sat navs. My Garmin 345 is maybe 5 to 6 years old now, and still receives updates from Garmin. People hate Basecamp, but when you get used to it, it's not that bad really, just nowhere easy as MyRouteApp Glad I'm a fully paid up member of both that MyRouteApp provide. Just need to get Android Auto to work correctly, and all will be well.

        @Jörgen

        Contacted TomTom. I received the information from that this email was sent to everyone by mistake🤔. I was then able to have my device number checked via the bot and received the good news that I was one of the “unfortunately accidental” ones. This is just for your information.

        Well done TT the users are now totally confused. 👍
