more map display

Following the installation of the latest update, I no longer have any cards displayed in MRA. I tried all the solutions given on the forum but nothing worked for me.
Everything worked fine until this update. While waiting for the developer's solution, would it be possible for me to reinstall the previous version to be able to use the application that I purchased.
I have to leave in a week and I can't see myself taking my zumo 660 out of the top case to guide me. -
@Calibos If you have an iPhone, it's quite simple. Go to TestFlight and click on 'Previous Builds'. There you can find the previous versions. For Android, it seems to be a bit more complicated. I have no idea how to do that.

Google Playstore has no means of reverting to a previous version at all.
Installing older versions of an app can only be done by sideloading APK's.
I cannot advise anyone who does know what I am talking about to proceed.
Anyone who does know what I am talking about needs no further assistance.
-
@Calibos, IIRC you have an Android, right?
Have you tried a force-close from within the Android system settings - Apps menu? Or a reboot for that matter? Yes there are some people with map problems, but I think you are the first on the forum to have it stick after force-closing the app. -
@Con-Hennekens
I don't see why the previous versions are not downloadable since they worked very well. I don't really understand your message "I can't advise anyone who knows what I'm talking about to move forward.
Anyone who knows what I'm talking about doesn't need any further help. "But that said, it doesn't matter, I tried all this and nothing works, I no longer have a card no matter what I do and I think I'm not the only one I saw some message from users for whom the manipulation of closing didn't change anything.
I'm thinking of filing a ticket because the app no longer works for me. -
@Calibos There are people for whom switching the travelmode from car to motor (or vice versa) provides some relief.
-
@Rob-Verhoeff
Okay I'm going to try but I'm only in car mode. And by searching carefully I found the three latest versions of My route app. I'm going to test to leave soon but in any case it will only be a solution while waiting for a response to the problem. -
After installing version 4.07 I found the display of my card as before. If anyone is interested I will provide the instructions.
I'm trying 4.08 to see if it still works but for my next trip I'm not going to touch anything and prevent the app from auto-updating. While waiting for a solution from the developers. You can't change your phone each time. time the app no longer works. -
@Calibos, I am sorry, I seem to have missed your reply earlier somehow.
I don't see why the previous versions are not downloadable since they worked very well.
I was talking about Android. Google Play Store does not offer older versions to install.
I can't advise anyone who knows what I'm talking about to move forward.
Anyone who knows what I'm talking about doesn't need any further help.I said this, because sideloading APK's in Android involves limiting security and software packages that are downloaded from skimmy places. Not something I recommend to people that are unaware. APKmorrir also does not offer any MRA APK's.
Since you obviously were able to find older versions, I must assume you are using an iPhone after all
-
No I don't use an iPhone but I got versions 4.07 and 4.08. I installed 4.07 and everything works normally again, so it's definitely a problem since version 4.1. I can't test the beta versions because only mra admins and programmers should have it.
I would like to have the opinion of a developer on this problem which is likely to happen to many other users as Android goes up in version. I use a Samsung Tab Activ 2 on the bike and I don't don't see investing every two years to make the application work. Even the tab activ 3 are not under Android 13! -
@Calibos, Running the app in Android versions 9 and newer should be no problem. But iirc there has been identified a certain graphical chipset that is not compatible with the rendering engine used in the SDK. I don't have details however.
I am very curious where you found older versions of the Android app though.
