MRA Video Tutorials
-
Hello Everyone
I am planning my first long trip with MRA. I am not familiar with MRA having used Tomtom and Garmin so I watched the videos in the support section on youtube. To me it seems as though the interface isnt the same as mine, then I notice the tutorials are a number of years old. I prefer visual rather than written instruction yet it seems the only way to get that now is by paying more for it. Has anyone got any ideas of how I can become proficient with the system?

The old videos also provide a good starting knowledge of the MRA Planner and once you have seen them you will recognize almost everything in the current interface.
The best thing is to just start using it and do what you think is right, keeping in mind that you can't break anything.
If you are going to adjust existing routes, make a copy to work with.
And last but not least, I would still advise you to consult the written support. The search function is particularly good! Often entering one keyword is enough to find the right tutorial. -

Hello Peter,If you can create routes with Basecamp, you can certainly create routes with MRA. Create a new route and click on the map and then a few more times and see what happens. If you want to place a point between 2 points, move your cursor to the route line and wait for the "+" sign
