A-B navigation issue
-
Next has been working great for me with very few issues. Today while out I've run into a couple of things.
- Started out with a female voice. About 15 minutes into my route, the voice changed to a male voice! This is the voice i had selected. Don't know why it switched mid route.
- Driving an A -B route. I missed a turn so next did a recalculate. However, it ignored my routing options selected when I planned the route. It started trying to route me onto a toll road which was not allowed when I initially plotted the A-B route. This also happened a second time on my return trip. When an A-B route has to recalculate it should remember the original routing options.

@Doug-Robinson,
- yes very strange...
- Was this A2B route by any chance one with a curvy setting? (So no straight line).
-
@Con-Hennekens I think it may have a been a straight line. In either case, missing a turn and causing a recalculation should not lose the navigation settings.
-
@Doug-Robinson, sure, but a straight line route does exactly that. A curvy route is in fact a track that gets followed without route calculation. Unless you miss a turn, then you force a recalculation. It could be that in that case the original routing parameters are not honored. Curvy routes take a completely different approach to routing then a straight line route. Hence the question.

Could you let me know if the issue described at 2 happens again.
We dit some testing and can confirm that your routing preferences should be maintained at all times.If this issue did occur, please indicate in what mode you were driving, what route you were driving and where it occurred

@Corjan-Meijerink riding season is over for me here in Canada. I'll try and do some testing next time I'm out in the car. Cheers!

@Doug-Robinson Sure thing!
