@Hubert-Thoring, I think you made your point (multiple times). As Corjan explained, the problem is not the will to develop the compatibility, but BMW hiding that possibility behind a closed source product. If you want to speed things up, you could ask BMW to make their product compatible.

You know the amount of work we try to complete with the limited resources. We really would like to do this but it’s not an easy job and there are more issues / feature requests besides this

There is already a solution to the BMW wheel operation. The BMW cradle is a very expensive piece of kit considering you are tied in to one app. The Blackbox Embedded Wunderlinq works with MRA and many more apps you can use BMW Wander wheel with it as well.

@Neil-Hinkins : Mein Cradel konnte ich für 160€ erwerben . Das von WunderLINQ ist schon um einiges teurer und nicht vergleichbar mit dem Cradel als Halterung und der induktiven Lade Möglichkeit ️

@Hubert-Thoring You can get a cradle on ebay that will fix to the wunderlinq with wireless charging for approximately £30. I understand that the wunderlinq works out more expensive especially in Europe but it dose what you are asking for now where as the cradle doesn't.

@Jörgen : Es gibt jetzt seit 10.2023 einen Nachfolger zum BMW (Garmin) Navigator N6 das Teil heißt CRN = Connected Ride Navigator von BMW mit einer scheinbar abgespeckten TomTom Karten Basis, aber noch sehr unfertig.

Die Auslieferungen wurden im Moment von BMW gestoppt, … viele Kunden warten jetzt,
länger als gedacht.

Das spricht Bände und spricht noch einmal mehr für die MyRouteApp Lösung.

Ein Update des BMW ConnectRide Navigators wird innerhalb einer Woche erwartet.
Wenn alles klappt, können auch GPX-Dateien verarbeitet und Ihre geplanten Routen gefahren werden.
