    Hello @Corjan-Meijerink, for those of us who use Next on a motorcycle, it is difficult to use the zoom having to press the +/- button and then the zoom in or zoom out button. I particularly double click with one finger to zoom in and double click with two fingers to zoom out, but this decenters the cursor. It would be important that when zooming in this way, with your fingers, the cursor does not become decentered, that is, how the zoom behaves when we do it with the zoom in and zoom out buttons. Thank you so much. Great job

    @bluetuz We do want to implement automatically refocussing the camera when you keep moving to prevent such issues 🙂

        What also would be nice if you use the zoom buttons that after a view seconds the plus and minus disappears. Now I have to push the X to get them away.

          Hi @Corjan-Meijerink, tested again today with the latest version and the zoom centers the cursor a few moments after moving the map. To relocate the cursor is fine but I think it is not the function we need. The objective is that, when you are doing routes with curves, it is interesting to have the zoom at maximum to see what the next curve is like. Currently, if you zoom to the maximum, after a while the cursor returns to the default zoom.

          Another important issue is that, when you ride a motorcycle, it is quite difficult to get the buttons right and it is easier to double-click to zoom, with one or two fingers. The problem is that by zooming in this way the cursor is off-center and if you center it again you return to the default zoom.

            I notice that more and more people are relying on the road layout displayed on their navigation device's screen instead of paying attention to the "language of the road"! The curve on your screen may appear smooth, but suddenly, it tightens at the end. That's when you're in trouble...

              @Rob-Verhoeff By paying attention to the road you can also get directions to a destination. In that case you don't need navigation software either.

                @bluetuz I use navigation to guide me along certain roads, not to monitor the road layout on my screen!

                  @Corjan-Meijerink Hi, despite of this discussion, is there a possibility of implementing the mode of operation that I explain to you?

                    @bluetuz we have 2 modes:

                    • dynamic
                    • top-down

                    In the dynamic mode we dynamically change the zoom / tilt. In the top-down mode, the zoom is fixed and there is no tilt (hence top-down).

                    If you zoom in using the buttons, it will stay zoomed in on that level. I might be able to change some behaviour for the automatic refocussing to take into account if you were previously using the dynamic or top-down mode.

                      @Corjan-Meijerink Thank you very much.

                      I think that in any case it would be important to leave the zoom level as the user has adjusted it, either with the buttons or by clicking on the screen. If you want to return to dynamic zoom or default zoom, simply click on the compass.

                      I think the zoom adjustment by double clicking anywhere on the screen and keeping the cursor centered is also very interesting, not only to facilitate those of us who use MyRoute-App on a motorcycle or those of us who have some automation done with external controls, If not because it is more intuitive and that is how other apps have it. Please reconsider

                        @bluetuz I can confirm we made some changes for this in the upcoming update! 🙂

                        • Double tap will now zoom in to your current location and enable the top-down mode with that zoom level (ensuring your location is still followed)
                        • When using the top-down mode, dragging around and clicking the compass it used to return to the dynamic camera. It now returns to the previous used mode (in this case top-down).
                        • Same as above for the automatic recenter when you start driving again.
                        • If you zoom in / out while freely moving around and then return to the top-down mode, that zoom level will be used.
