A lot of praise for the app

In meiner Facebook Gruppe (siehe Signatur) gab es heute viel Lob für die App:

Na das nenne ich doch mal eine Verbesserung, die es in sich hat. Konnte leider die letzten 3 Jahre kein Motorradfahren, sonst wäre ich sicher eher drauf gekommen.
Die heutige Route bot mit unter 20 Wegpunkten auf 170KM zwar wenig Fehlerpotential. Es lief aber auch wirklich gut.
Die Menüs sind erstklassig, die Anzeige beinah perfekt.
Der abrupte Wechsel zwischen Tag.- und Nachtansicht (beispielsweise in Tunneln) sucht seinesgleichen. Herrlich!
Ein Manko, liegt aber sicher an den Temperaturen: mein IPHONE drosselt irgendwann die Helligkeit und ich kann sie dann auch nicht mehr hochsetzen.
2 Wünsche hätte ich, insofern ich da evtl. selber über die Einstellungen Einfluss nehmen kann (woran ich bei Punkt1 nicht glaube).

1. Mich interessiert beim Fahren der Abstand zur nächsten Abbiegung deutlich mehr, als der oben genannte Straßennamen, der ja im übrigen( zumindest die Straßennummer) unten zusätzlich angezeigt wird. Also oben links würde ich mir eine größere Anzeige der nächsten Abbiegung wünschen, wobei dort oben der Straßenname ruhig kleiner und der Hintergrund durchsichtiger sein dürfte.
   Wenn das technisch möglich wäre, könnte man die aktuelle Position auch mehr mittig anordnen, jetzt ist die nämlich sehr „rechtslastig“.
2. Wenn ich auf einer Tour (wie aktuell die Route des Grandes Alpes) fahre, mache ich in regelmäßigen Abständen Fotos. Dies hat in der MRA zur Folge, dass ich danach immer wieder auf die Kompassnadel drücken und anschließend erneut den Zoom anpassen muss.
   Das ist „ein wenig“ nervig.
   Alles in Allem denke ich aber, das mein TomTom nun bald das Zeitliche segnet.

Now that's what I call a real improvement. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to ride a motorbike for the last 3 years, otherwise I would have thought of it sooner.
With less than 20 waypoints over 170 km, today's route offered little potential for error. But it also went really well.
The menus are first class, the display almost perfect.
The abrupt change between day and night view (for example in tunnels) is unparalleled. Wonderful!
One drawback, however, is certainly the temperature: at some point my IPHONE reduces the brightness and I can no longer increase it.
I have 2 wishes, insofar as I can possibly influence them myself via the settings (which I don't believe in point 1).
When driving, I am much more interested in the distance to the next turn than the above-mentioned street name, which is also displayed at the bottom (at least the street number). I would like to see a larger display of the next turn at the top left, whereby the street name could be smaller and the background more transparent.
If that were technically possible, the current position could also be placed more centrally, because now it is very "right-heavy".
When I am on a tour (like the current Route des Grandes Alpes), I take photos at regular intervals. In the MRA, this means that I always have to press the compass needle again and then adjust the zoom again.
That is "a little" annoying.
All in all, I think that my TomTom will soon pass away.

The streetname at the bottom is the street you are currently driving. The (BIG!) streetname at the top is the street you will be driving into at the next turn. Sometimes those are the same. Both can be toggled on/off in the settings. I have the top name toggled off, because I find streetnames very uninteresting, and I don't have time to search for streetname signs while driving. That frees up a lot of screen estate and puts the flyer more to the middle (especially in landscape mode).

It is a pity however that when lane assistance or waypoint warnings appear, that whole (BIG!) streetname comes back into display while I specifically disabled that. I hope that this will get sorted some time.

Will be improved in the next update!
The app will automatically refocus the view when you start moving again.

, Ergänzt hilft vielleicht auch eine weitere Optische Auffälligkeiten das man es sieht wie gerade die Navigation eingestellt ist … bevor man wieder los fährt.

Bin schon gefühlt 100 mal drauf rein gefallen, losgefahren und dann erst bemerkt, und dann mit falschen Handschuhen heißt es neu anhalten.!!
