Squeaky voice Samsung S 23 ULTRA

All voice directions are very rushed and garbled. Thought it was a bluetooth issue but seems not.

Anyone have a solution

@Andrew-s, I had a problem with a friend whose phone voiced route instructions audible as Dutch text but spoken as if it were English. The locale settings were all correct. Eventually we found an English setting in a system menu that would resemble something like "accessibility options - accessibility - text-to-speech - speech services". There his phone was set to English. It is an Android system settings, because the MRA app makes use of the OS speech system.
Could this be the same problem?
