Lots of interesting discussion. I was thinking about the original post and the distance indicated for the next clue. I think the screens have to be very intuitive and right now it is. Changing the distance indicator on the second clue to the difference between the first and second clues would likely be confusing in particular for new users. There is so much functionality in this new app that training and the learning curve for new users is going to be horrendous. Tap this once it does that, tap again it does something else, long press and something else happens. Tap the screen and a bunch of stuff disappears etc. Bottom line, if you have to stop and think about what is displayed, perhaps it needs to change to be more intuitive.

I like the waypoints being displayed on the routes. I like having the next turn information as well as the one following in particular when making quick turns. I don't know why the "second clue" disappears when the next navigation clue is a waypoint.

Someone else indicated that a waypoint just after a turn may cause the turn to NOT be announced.

I would like to see the name of the road not just the route number displayed.

        Super work guys.

It's actually the other way around. A waypoint just before a junction or turn, may prevent the voice guidance being heard, even if the announcement of waypoints is disabled. I think this will be solved before release, but not sure.

Even before this ever happened, I made it a good habit to place my waypoints always behind a turn or junction, never before. That prevents you from seeing the not very informative shapingpoints right at the junction.

@Con-Hennekens I understand and I do the same, but in another thread on voice prompt issues, there was a discussion about a waypoint announcement (even when not spoken) over-riding the turn announcement if the waypoint was too close to the turn. The writer was not sure how far from (behind) the turn the waypoint would need to be.
