Needs To log in while having no internet.
-
At This moment (may 26th until half june) on holiday in Canada.
Using The beta app.
Old Navigation app Will nog start.
The beta app needs To log in even if There is no wifi. For me now the main issue (help)
So i can not close the app when not using it.
Need To download all the routes separatly ( find all out the hardway).
In the Netherlands it Worked for me fine nut now specially the mandatory log in is not practical.
Skip over Several routepoints is not possible anymore. -
@Marco-42, Can you un-install / re-install the Navigation app? The beta App usually does not need to re-login, except when it was re-installed or data was cleared. But I have seen a similar question like yours about it too, Most likely the reason is a flaky internet connection, and a time-out that gets handled incorrectly. Hopefully it will be corrected before public release. Can you not force close the app? Usually swipe up from the open apps overview. Concerning downloading routes, yes, obviously you need a internet connection for that Since the lates version however, all routes that get started will automatically be downloaded. So if you test start a route before you leave, you will have it offline on your device too.

@Con-Hennekens I reported this a few weeks ago on a tour of Scotland. It happened again today and I put my phone in flight mode and restarted the app and this worked without any issue.
Currently in Morroco, unfortunately MRA didn't work too well on a three day road trip which I have just completed, report to follow separately. -
The app shouldn’t check the login state if there is no internet. With bad internet however there might be reasons that cause you to be logged out.
We’ve received numerous reports about this undesired behaviour and will improve it

Hi, I had the same issue today (may 29th). No WiFi but I did have a weak 5G signal, I was asked to login but the system could not handle the authentication setting that my account was expired … back at home, alls is well again.
