Next Road Text Like Lane Instruction - Suggestion

Really like the new screen layout with 3.2.15-173 and the free space when the ‘Upcoming Street’ text box is turned off. However, it would be really handy if there could be option to have the road number/name ‘pop up’ just before the turn (just like the lane instruction) when there are no lane directions. I have found over the last couple of days I have missed the route number next to the direction indicator as i approach a junction in areas where I am not familiar. Moreover, I do not want the text box there all the time but an option to for the ‘Upcoming Street’ box to act just act like the lane instruction does. Would this approach also allow me to see via waypoint information or is there another solution being thought through for seeing waypoint text?
