South East England very last minute trip suggestions?
-
Hello,
I am considering a short trip next weekend to the south of England via the Eurotunnel from coming Thursday to Sunday., on my own.
Is it easy to find places to stay, any tips were to find a cheap stay with breakfast o rshould I just use booking.com.or trivago?
Any must see places? White cliffs of Dover...
(No decision take yet)Thnx,
Edwin -

Assuming on the KTM in your signature? Could do worse than this or sections of. I used to live in Vigo village, Near Meopham which is on the Pilgrims Way, lots of other Byeways, though that was over 25 years ago and a lot has happened in the green lane world since...

@Edwin_M You could use the POI library for hotels and B&Bs and the Google overlay map shows accommodation with a pink marker with a bed
This route from the RouteXpert library goes from Dover to Brighton, you can adjust the start to the Channel Tunnel.

This would be a very good investment. You could then either download the gpx(s) you fancied from his site at a few pennies, or generally they can be plotted from the description.

still in doubt, it does cost quite a few cents... but I am almost crossing the channel -
In North America we have Bunk a Biker. Do you have this in Europe/UK? Some great places to stay for free.

If you are in the vicinity of Eastbourne take a trip up to Beachy Head.
Great views and some wide open sweepers to get your knee down. -
Ferry is booked.
