Showing all routes together
-
I have a Trip planned for Spring this year and it consists of 9 planned routes. So far so good. Is it possible to display these separate routes together, rather than only showing them as discreet routes ?

Hi,
It is possible with the <Add> function in the Route menu (left column). But only temporary.
You can find information in this support article:
'Manual 'Display and merge multiple routes' (click) -
@Jack-van-Tilburg that is what I do as well and simply take a screengtab of the full route to use in documentation.
This year one of the trips involves multi days from a number of bases and, by choosing different colours for each day, the routes are clearly defined on what would have otherwise been a messy presentation.

@Jack-van-Tilburg why temporarely? as in basecamp its very handy when making several trips as john b1says.

@toni-e
I know.
And it is mentioned here at the before.
I think MRA development has taken notice of that wish.
For now it is what it is. The added routes are only visible during the time that you are editing. -
@Jack-van-Tilburg it is not temporary if you choose to actually go through with the adding of each route.
You simply end up with a new route, with all waypoints which includes all the routes you choose.
If you start off with a new blank page then add (for example) day 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. then you effectively have a new route containing the four days.
If you simply want to create an image with the complete route, you can add the routes but never follow it through and the software will give you a nice image without waypoints to use as a presentation should you capture it (as I do) with a screen grabber.

@Nick-Dawson
I stand corrected
But we're both right. Only I should have discerned the intent better.
My idea was that it was about making the separated routes visible. Ideally using different colors per route.
And I thought the TS had this in mind too. Due to the question "Is it possible to display these separate routes together, rather than only showing them as discrete routes ?" -
@Jack-van-Tilburg Thanks so much but try as I might I can't see an 'ADD' button !

@John-B-1
After you have created a new route or opened an existing route, choose the option <Routes> in the left column. There you can find the "Add" function.
