Icons for via and shaping points

Will it be possible to add additional icons to represent via and shaping points (along the lines of Basecamp)? I know there is currently an option to add a pause icon to them but the range of icons is very limited.
Perhaps the option to add POI's, and make them either via or shaping points, will eventually negate this need?

You can use viapoints, these are the hard points as in Basecamp
Click on a shapingpoint, click on the 3 dots and click on the hand
icon.
In the Garmin Zumo you will see them as a flag
