User POI
-
I've been using MyRoute with great success for planning and executing a month-long vacation.
My apologies if this has been answered in support pages or previous posts, but I would like to create a persistent set of personal POI's that I can use across multiple routes.
I believe that I could create an external file with POI's and upload it, but I would prefer to use the application and map to create a 'user library' of POI's that I might choose to visit on my trip.
I'd appreciate comments and suggestions.
Thanks!

@Don-Stauffer in mra this is called "favorites". In the routeplanner they are the left menu. Just create a waypoint on the map click on it and click on the star in the pop up

You can also make your own poi lists
You can add your own POIs in the POI menu.
Open a new route, choose "Manage" from the POI menu and create your POIs by clicking on 'Add' each time.
When you're done, export this file (eg) as 'CSV'.
And then import that file again as "POI" via the import menu.
Your list will then be in your own "Library". -
Thanks for that, I'll give it a try. I have been using 'favorites' for routing, but like to use POI's for things that I may or may not decide to include on a route. Like a national park or a fabulous brew pub!
