Set the level of curviness - between 2 route points
-
Hi guys
Is there a possibility to set the level of curviness between two route points ? (like in calimoto)
e.g. between route point 1 and 2 I want to drive the fastest route (straight on the highway) and between route point 2 and 3 I want to drive as curvy as possible, ect.?I found in the tool only the possibility to change the level of curviness for the whole trip (when TomTom is set), and not between two single route points.

@sven-v Add route points so that you follow the route that you want.

@sven-v From what I understand, the MRA team are planning to make multiple different route segments possible in the future. I imagine this would include functionality to do exactly this (at least it would seem very useful to me if that was possible and one of the main benefits of having multiple route segments).
Until then, you're on your own, like @Nick-Carthew said. My usual approach is to not bother with including the approach in the route. I use a TomTom satnav device/app and it will guide me via the fastest route to the starting point of any route I load into it, which basically works out to what you say: it will take the fastest route (using highways etc) to the starting point and then start the curvy route.
If your satnat device or app doesn't do this, I would just put the start of the actual route in manually, drive there and then load the actual route when you get there (note: this may require internet connectivity if you can't load the route beforehand)..

If you have a Calimoto Account you can import the Calimoto GPX file into My Route App as a Track then click the “Use Route” option which will give you the waypoints.
I do this all the time as I prefer to use my Zumo XT as my main navigation device.
I haven’t found a phone case yet that is 100% reliable to touch in all weathers like the Zumo XT is.
I like the Calimoto App particularly because of its highest “Curvy” setting, which will plot the majority of the route on Un-Paved Roads (Roads with no walkable pavements for pedestrians)
These are the roads I prefer to travel on wherever possible. -

As far as I know it's not possible to do what you want in MRA
But.... there is a workaroundLet's say you have a route with waypoints 1 to 6 and you want to set a winding route level between waypoint 3 and 4.
Proceed:
1.- Make a route A from 1 to 3
2.- Make a route B from 3 to 4 and set winding route level as you want. Expand that route to more points (dependint how long is). Let's say you expand to 40 waypoints
3.- Make a route C from 4 to 6Now, join all the routes and the trip 3 to 4 will keep the route designed with the winding level you choosed
