Interesting, I now go over all my routes to make sure there are no waypoints in front of turns. I move waypoints to after the turn.

@Steven-1j In iOS settings, dan naar de applicatie MRA in dat settings menu. Daar kun je dat vinden. Niet in de MRA app settings. [image: 1683919652974-img_0f3abc03a055-1.jpeg] [image: 1683919710288-img_5fa812c39294-1.jpeg]

@Didier-Gmz This is already available in the app. It's turned on by default. Check Navigation settings > audio to verify if the audio warnings are turned on. Check Navigation settings > Screen layout to verify if the visual warnings are turned on.

@Calibos it would be possible to add this information in the waypoint pane of the navigation. Indeed this information does not appear anywhere in the navigation application.

@Vince-Hyde, That has already been taken care of. You can skip to any WP just by giving it a long press, either on the map or in the WP list.

@Knightrider1 sounds like a coincidence with bad internet or something like that but we’ll have a look. Language: whatever you prefer. English is more convenient for all users but Dutch is definitely allowed

Thanks for the feedback. I never really saw a reason to run a tracklog while navigating a route. The timeline is actually really neat. I may play with this a little more.

@Roger-Doidge ah, that’s another question. So this is something we wish to improve later on. For now the routes made available offline are located in your account page (open menu, then click top right on account icon) and choose “Downloads”. Here you can find your route. Also: offline maps are only applicable to the Navigation module. The map you see when directly opening the app does require internet at all times (although it does cache to some limit).

@Corjan-Meijerink said in Navigation is still running when the unit is switched off: That’s another point of discussion @David-Bonner But we can agree that locking your screen won’t ever result in the navigation session being terminated. That’s just something you don’t want and no app does NOTE: Related to BMW Connected App Only! Interestingly, over VERY many interactions with the 'Ride Connected' team (BMW Connected app). They make a point, and indeed have real issues (predominantly with iOS) with the phone screen being switched off. These of course may be technical issue not present in MRA. All I know (over 5 years and 4 motorcycles) powering the screen off allows the connected app to sleep (and therefore fail) and indeed, allowing another app focus (e.g. spotify) can also allow the app to sleep. Caveats: BMW have to display on the TFT (not the phone) so why would you navigate with the phone off with MRA! MRA do not have the media, phone issues, BMW have This is purely, In my experience an iOS issue irrespective of settings in iOS for the app. e.g. 'Always allow xxxxxxx', 'Precise Location', 'Network Access', etc.

So I've done the permanent install. Wired the power supply into the bikes switched accessories power via this kit... Electrical Connection Update Kit Routed harness to the right side of the bike and installed the power supply there... [image: 1683419365825-0f57eb23-c302-4418-a3a9-0366676adf51-image.png] Display mounted. Phone resides in windshield bag with power routed to it from the USB port. [image: 1683419385636-a37ff2d7-59b9-4d65-baaa-c288447aeaf4-image.png] The red arrow points to a Chargie... https://chargie.org/ As mentioned before... The Chargie manages battery charging and temperature. AFAIK there are generally two ways to get this kind of control... Software which requires rooting the phone and this hardware approach. The Chargie works pretty well for this task. Overall I'm pretty pleased with this setup. The phone (battery/heat/cold/elements) won't get stressed and the CP/AA display works great. I've tried an intercom system with it. Everything pairs and works as expected. As discussed before.. Some had mentioned that they don't like that the display unit doesn't have an internal battery to prevent power cycles/reboots when you start the bike etc. This has absolutely not been a problem. The display unit powers up and reconnects to everything within 30 seconds. If you had a Nav session going before shutdown (say stopping for gas), the route/navigation session is still there when the system reboots and reconnects. The only nit that I've found so far is that the BINIZE unit's firmware version doesn't yet have the Android Auto volume controls. Other "brands" have already provided the firmware update for that. Right now I'm using my iPhone, so it's not a problem. But sooner or later, I'll want to update the firmware.
