Roundtour and unexpected issues on road
-
I did a short 100k roundtour
A thing that occurred was that a road was blocked.
I had to go around pretty far. It was quite a struggle to get back to the route. First I tried to find a point in the overview to pick up the route again. But it sent me back to where I had to leave the route.
If was further from the route that I shown in the printscreen and closer to a new point to pickup the route again..![alt text](image url )
There is no way (that I know off) to deviate for a part of the track/route, as is possible with a route to skip a waypoint or something? Also in one occurance the audio message were not in sync with the displayed info. It was a strange experience, I don't even know anymore how it was fixed. I followed the audio instruction and then turned back as it was completed of the displayed route.

@Edwin_M it seems like you've created a tour with the generator. There are no shaping points di you can't skip something that is not there.
Take the trouble to create such a tour in the routelab and make sure there are enough shaping points.
Have fun driving -
@Marinus-van-Deudekom that is correct and these remarks are intended to make the roundtour even better by development .
It's Not everytime that I want to plan. This 'surprise me' is great, but can use some extra love. -
This is still something typical for the roundtrip option. In MRA Next you cannot alter your route to skip these errors.
In MRA Routeplanner. The roundtrip option does the same. But here you have the option to open the route and delete or correct these errors.Sorry. This is all there is

At least we managed to improve the stability of not losing the track (when it sends you to the end directly)!
Drawback is now that the app is slightly strict with sticking to the route.

@Corjan-Meijerink thnx for your reply..maybe something will pop up in the 'development head' ;-).someday (when least expected )so the app can deal a bit better with it
