Hey Next Team,
zZ ist hier ein Unwetter in Süd Norwegen mit Starkregen, was fehlt ist eine klare Sicht auf Straßensperrungen die zZ ungeplant durch zB Erdrutsche und Überschwemmungen entstehen.

• Wie wird das denn in der MRA Navigation App gelöst.

Wir sind jetzt wirklich gezwungen zZ eine andere App Lösung zu nutzen um nicht in eine Sackgasse zu geraten. Wir sind im Moment Evakuiert und pausieren gezwungener Maßen hier in Fagernes

Das ist in so einer Situation vor Ort sehr schade, wenn dann die MRA nicht weiß was wie sauber zu navigieren ist !!

@Hubert-Thoring sad to hear you currently are in Norway
These situations are rather complex, within the app we do definitely use traffic information but completely rely on HERE. Not sure how quickly these are reflected in the app.

If the map layer shows the road is closed, then the information is available. I would be curious to know how any planned routes are adjusted based on that information.

Besides this, the app will always prefer to find a route so based on your waypoints and the severity of closed roads, results might differ.

folgendes ist unglücklich bei der Planungsebene im Vergleich zur MRA Navigation.

• in der Planung s. zwischen WP 7 - WP 8 sieht man nicht warum anders also als große Schleife geroutet wird.

s. Route , gebe ich gleich frei

helfen würde wenn man direkt deutlicher beim planen und dann auch in der MRA Navigation die Gründe = hier in diesem Fall die Sperrungen durch Starkregen deutlicher also auffälliger und somit früher erkennen würde….

Die Routen hatte ich zuvor geplant und beim öffnen der Route in der MRA Navigation wundert man sich schon sehr.

Scheinbar ist es bereits heute möglich die Strecke WP 7 - WP 8 zu fahren das zeigen zwei andere Apps mir an.

@Hubert-Thoring A section of your route is closed (according to the Here map). Therefore, you are being redirected. Just look in the red-framed box near the city of Nesbyen (black line next to the road). You can check these closures by enabling the 'Traffic' map overlay. That is a Gold functionality.

@Hubert-Thoring Yep, that works for me too, I see. Perhaps the Here map thinks you should just walk the last little stretch then... You can bet that you can continue driving like this. It saves you a big detour! Or use a local website that might give you more information about that stretch of roadworks. I'm not easily discouraged by these kinds of sections. And if you really can't get through, then taking a detour is the only option

These short-term closures due to storms or other reasons are not a problem from MRA. The map supplier (HERE) is responsible for this. Such closures have to be reported first, and then someone has to enter them. This sometimes takes a few days (I noticed this here at a construction site). In Google, TomTom and Here it took one to five days.
And especially in the case of such storm closures, they are reopened more quickly than they are visible on the maps.
These are all things that navigation users have to live with. It may help to use local information or apps for such things.
