Be sure to indicate where you are. How stupid is that? I have to tell a GPS program where I am?

@Fred-Gilbert
You must give permission to use your location when installing the app, which is quite normal when you install an app. -
@Hans-van-de-Ven-MRA-Master -newbie here...have the same problem; did a reboot of iPhone and reinstalled the myroute-app giving location access while using - when accessing the generator, I get the "Don't forget to set your starting point by clicking on the map" message and there is no response by the iPhone (IOS 16.1 current)when tapping on the map - would appreciate any suggestions.
Many thanks

@BD-1
When opening the app, do you see a blue dot? That is your location.
Then tick on the hamburger menu (3 lines)
Then tick on roundtour. -
@Hans-van-de-Ven-MRA-Master - Good morning and thank you for the reply and information. I do see the blue dot and the round trip does offer multiple optional routes. I am unable, however, to figure out how to export/download the routes for use on my Zumo XT - I do not use the iPhone for navigation on the motorcycle but rather to build routes when away from my home computer and export them to the Zumo. In going to the My Route-app, the Generator still does not work which may be a bug in the system. Is it possible to export/download to the Zumo from the round trip? A roundtrip does not show up in the Last Route menu.
Many thanks again for your assistance - -
When on the website, create a route with the generator.
The generator create a route-track.
Open the route-track and choose + edit route-track.
Then the route-track wil convert to a route.
Check the routepoints that they are correct on the road.
Connect your Zumo to the PC and export the route via the connector.
Choose gpx 1.1 or gpx 1.2 if you have viapoints in the route. -
@BD-1 Many thanks again for the quick reply - I made an error in my prior reply in that I am using the MyRoute Navigation app on the iPhone, have built the round trips but do not know how to transfer them to Garmin Drive or to my Zumo XT. I don't use my iPhone for navigation on the motorcycle but rely on the Garmin.
Your instructions for using the generator on the web site worked perfectly although I am still learning to distinguish between gpx 1.1 and 1.2.
Wish you a great weekend and safe travels. -
@BD-1, the roundtrips made on the website can be stored and exported to other devices. The roundtrips in the App cannot. They can only be navigated instantly within the app, (although I may have heard rumors about that being changed somewhere in the future).

@Con-Hennekens 10-4 thank you - would be a very welcomed feature for those of us who would like to build routes via iPhone but do not use the iPhone for navigation. A good addition if it can be added.
Best regards,
BD

@BD-1, it would ALSO be a good addition for those of us indeed navigating with the app. It would make it possible for one person to make the roundtrip and instantly share it with the group he's riding with
