Keyboard Control in Beta 3.2.10 (iOS)
-
The keyboard controls don’t work properly in this beta.
If you start a route and then press n to open the drawer menu (while in the turn by turn screen), the arrow keys do not move around the menu, but instead move the map around in the background. Pressing c to select something doesn’t work either, it just re-centers the map shown behind the drawer menu.
You also can’t navigate the routing screen properly - pressing c does not start navigation and the arrow keys don’t properly navigate the route selection screen.
I’ve recorded a video but can’t attach it to this post to demonstrate

@Dae-0 That's indeed true for now!
@Corjan-Meijerink said in MyRoute-app & BarButtons - control our app using a bluetooth keyboard:
A large part of the app is fully compatible / traversable using just these controls! However, some menu's still require actual screen interaction. In a future iteration, we will make sure those issues are resolved
Please see the above statement, we will therefore make sure traversing the menu's (as the issue you mention) works correctly in the future!

@Dae-0 The Android beta (3.2.4 - 144) doesn't work for me. However, the iOS beta (3.2.10 - 162) does work.
Any idea roughly when Android might be fixed, Corjan?
Thanks.Android symptoms:
Cursor keys: they all focus the whole screen with a thin green surrounding box.
Once that focus is performed you can only use the cursor keys to move around the menu widgets, but you can't use them to scroll the map.
The only way to de-focus and lose the green surround is to close/re-open the app.Tested on Barbuttons (and Apple Bluteooth keyboard just to double-check).

@richtea-0 3.2.4 for Android isn’t the Beta so that’s why it doesn’t work. Make sure you’ve also signed up for the Android Beta testing program and that you’ve followed the relevant instructions using the correct Google / Android account.
Please contact support if you have trouble with this.
