When you stop for a break and want to start navigating
-
Today I was using the Nav next . About half way through my journey I stopped for a coffee .
When I resumed my journey the software seemed confused and showed the total mileage as if I was starting from the beginning . As I moved off I had 2 directional arrows on the map I knew were I was going and followed my return route a few miles on the road the software recovered .
If I had not been sure of my route it would have been very confusing and could have directed me in the wrong direction .
Also I use my route app to make my routes and use here maps.
When I download these in to Nav Next it tells me that the downloaded maps are saved in open street and can only open as a track which is not the case confusingThank you kindly

@Derek-2 can you provide a screen shot of the error message when you try to open a downloaded route?

@Derek-2
You can stop the navigation by clicking on the 3 dots and then choosing Stop navigation. On the screen you will then get the option to resume navigation. If you choose no there, the route will be closed. If you leave this question, you can press the button after the stop to restart the navigation of the location where you are. -
@Derek-2, What phone do you use? Were you using Apple Carplay by any chance?
It;s pretty easy to stop and start navigating all over. Long-press the first waypoint ahead of the route to pick up from where you are.I suspect that the route you are opening has been downloaded before that function was implemented. If you delete it and download it again it will be okay.
