Android vs IOS

Why is it that most of my routes[derived and checked from tracklogs ] will navigate perfectly on my Samsung and not at all on my iphone? Every time i try to load a route onto the iphone i get an error message saying "Unable to Calculate the Route". Is there a workaround for Apple?. Trying to download a route from my Imac to Tom Tom rider 550 is also problematic. I think the only solution is to abandon Ios and stick entirely to Android devices.

Hi Lex,
Unfortunately I don't know why it doesn't work to load a route on your iPhone, I have no problems with either system. What sometimes happens is, if the route points are on a road with a closure, the route cannot be loaded.
To upload a route from your iMac to your TomTom 550, it is best to use the "Save As", "Tom Tom MyDrive (Beta)" option. Make sure that your TomTom Mydrive account is also in the TomTom 550. -

For me it works fine at my IPHONE 11 pro max (to the right) and my Android 8.1 Phone (to the left).

@Reinhard-32 I notice the same route, but 3 km difference, the one route taking 8 minutes less than the other one. I can understand that if you compare TomTom to Garmin, but not if you compare the one MRA to the other one...

@sudolea Yes you observed it correctly. But is is not a big issue. The route will be new calculated at booths devices and small differences are normal. The computing engines at the devices are different and therefore the results as well. Maybe some guys from the developers team can comment this behaviors.
I can see similar time differences with BaseCamp routes at my ZumoXT.
Appendix. When I press the start button at both devices the results (distance and time) are the same.
