I also use Spotwalla.com for tracking my IBA rides. It has the possbility to set geographical area (eg - 1 mile from a location) set as 'private'. The 'public' version does not show the track within that marked area. I wonder if that could be a possibility. [image: SW02.png] [image: SW01.png]

Google maps is important and losing it would seriously degrade MRA’s usability. For example: with Google Maps we can see commercial businesses (cafes museums shops etc etc) that OSM may not catch Google Maps is the defacto standard outside MRA and that layer provides significant comfort for newcomers quite often we are looking for places with Google side by side - eg copying someone’s route - and it helps to have the two using identical layers

Bedankt..had het ondertussen ook al uitgevist..maar de oplossing is minder intuïtief dan in de klassieke ROUTELAB..

i also lean towards the wish to have google maps overlay available. Current map is not up to date enough. For example : pension der tourstop is not shown on current maps unfortunately i'm not available to upload a printscreen with beta account? I have been testing this too, using a private Moto route from Elvas in Portugal to Badajoz in Spain on 2 November. The visible time-zone label is helpful. In my summer-date test, a 09:00 WEST departure gave a 09:19 arrival, with the Spanish waypoint also showing 09:19 rather than 10:19 local time. For European touring, seeing each stop’s local arrival time would make planning hotel arrivals and other timed commitments clearer. Could waypoint-local times be considered, with the relevant zone shown?

+1 - more colors and more icons. Likewise for Waypoints. Just "borrow" all the ones from Google's My maps. We won't tell - lol! [image: image.jpeg]
