BMW handwheel for the MyRoute app
-
Hello,
I discovered today by chance that the Remotek-One can also be operated in parallel with the app operation of the BMW app (CRA) with multicontroller, also independently directly by the Remotek-One.
Idea: Understand signals / make handwheel usable for MyRoute app !!
Doesn't this perhaps mean that if you know the "BT code of the Remotek-One" so that you could understand the signals of the BMW multicontroller and know its perhaps the same signals, could pretend and could create a signal interface to the MyRoute app with the BMW multicontroller to operate it with it...
Service today:
Remotek-One = / = BMW handwheel
Up arrow " + Zoom" = handwheel forward
Arrow down "- Zoom" = handwheel to back
Arrow right / Menu around one lower = handwheel right
Arrow left / in the menu one back = handwheel left
Hallo,

The BMW app (used in the cradle) receives the input information (wunderwheel) from the cradle itself.
Besides that, apparently, the keycodes sent by Remotek-One are also accepted. The latter is easy (we do it too), the former is kinda hard because we cannot use the cradle like that. Options for us to support the wunderwheel already exist. We support WunderLINQ and the Carpe Iter BMW controller.
Unfortunately it's not possible for us to simply read the input from native motorcycle buttons.
