Offline maps, new twist

I have problems downloading offline maps to my Samsung tablets SD card. After loading ~2 maps downloading further maps becomes very slow to download, read this as "stops."

This screws other Apps life the file browser and SD maid.

Also MRA becomes slow to load but still functions up to the point where I ask it to navigate me to a point. When I hit the navigate button the map part of the screen goes blank.
I have found that if I remove the SD card and ask MRA to navigate me to the same location the map loads and the route is displayed.

Does this mean anything to the developers???
