Which format best for saving the route

I have a 2015 Harley Davidson that uses the Boom Box 6.5 navigation system. I'm creating my routes in the laptop version of MyRoute. Is it better to save my files to be uploaded to the bike as a gpx 1.0, gpx 1.1 or HD Boom Box (pre 2019) route? I have been using the HD Boom Box one but the navigation system doesn't always follow what I have created. Thanks.

@jen I believe your Boom Box uses maps from HERE. Have you planned your route in MRA using the HERE map? That should minimize the differences between your planned route and what actually happens on your device. Even so, the maps installed on your device are not guaranteed to be exactly the same as those on MRA. How recent are the maps on your device?
