Simon Almeria Spain

Hi I’m Simon 58 and now retired to Andalusia.
My previous life of 37 years was as a vehicle technician -garage owner in Staffordshire uk.
I’ve been into bikes forever and I’ve imported my 2020 Africa Twin and my 2000 VFR800FY .
I’ve just started to ride the areas around me to find Andalusia something special .
I’ve realised quickly I’m very lucky to live here as a biker!
I’ve subscribed to lifetime as i wish to learn and share my routes as main hobby as i have time on my hands for the first time ever .
I did a round trip route today and came across the mountain pass on route to be private and no access so how do i feed this location back ?
Shiny side up everyone ️️ -
@Simon-Dean Welcome.
You could share the route by copying and pasting the URL in the reply with information about where the problem is. Make sure the privacy of the route is public before sharing.

Hi Simon,
I am not 100% sure, but I think you must report this to the HERE, as they are providing the maps and all the data related to the map.
I use the mapcreator.here.com website to send map errors.
Greetings

Hi Nick
https://www.myrouteapp.com/route/open/10320013Waypoint 55 going over mountain pass has private no access barrier.
Thanks

@Simon-Dean Your shared route only has 12 route points (waypoints).

@Nick-Carthew Sorry wrong one !

@Simon-Dean There are so many things wrong with the route, I'm not sure where to start.
All of the route points from 2 - 79 have the generic name of waypoint, this normally indicates that they have been added automatically. The planning map from OpenStreetMap has been used alongside Motorcycle as transport mode, meaning each time the route is opened the pop-up box with The selected mode only works with the HERE / TomTom map. appears.As for the private road, I'm not sure what is happening there between RPs 52 and 53. All 3 MRA planning maps allow a route to use this road as does the Google Maps website.
Using the HERE and TomTom planning maps there are several anomalies that would require addressing.
My advice would be to open RP1 click on the zoom icon and move it to the route line, then use the right arrow to move to the next route point. Always position the finish RP behind the start RP.

@Nick-Carthew Hi yes the route was given as an automatic round trip and yes I am finding my way around things so not suprised lots wrong
The waypoints were added automatically as i was having a look at the different map types as you have said.
Yes that barrier is there as you have shown perhaps its recent ?
Thanks for the tips appreciated i will take look. -
