Navigation wishes

Hello Corjan, when navigating to a destination you can choose different routes, straight, curvy, more curvy, etc. I would also like to be able to use this in route planning. I would also like to be able to specify intermediate destinations in the navigation. Is this already possible or is it being planned.

@Marschel if you choose Tomtom as your planning map, then those options are available. If you are going to use MyRoute-app to navigate the route then use the compare function (Gold option) to make sure Here (which is used by MyRoute-app for navigation) is the same as the Tomtom route. Add waypoints as necessary to force Here to follow the same route.

@retiredWingMan, that's a good tip, I'll give it a try. Thanks

Or the OSM segments!

...and learned something new again. Thank you both. The only thing left is the second wish: to be able to set intermediate points in the navigation.

@Marschel what do you mean by intermediate points? If you mean a waypoint that you have to visit or want to stop at, that would be a viapoint. This is represented by the hand symbol. If you click on a waypoint and then click the three dots extra settings are displayed. One let's you change the waypoint to a via point.

Now I have found the function to add another waypoint in the navigation that I had missed. It was hidden under the 3 dots menue in the navigation view

@Marschel, You will be getting there!

There are lots of things to be discovered!
