Beta tester and update
-
I am part of the beta testers, I am currently in version 3.2.17.181.
on the play store I am offered an update of the application:
If I do this update, will I lose the beta tester function, I'm sorry I've re-read several times the post dealing with this subject but I can't understand what is the right part to follow. -
@Calibos If iOS, you can update to the release version on the App Store and then subsequently update through Test Flight when a newer beta is released. With Android, you have leave the beta through the Play Store to upgrade to the release version but can then rejoin straight away as a beta tester again through the Play store after the update.

That is actually not true. The latest Beta is equal to the current public version. You can just update to the current version. If you don't disable beta in the play-store, you keep getting the early versions, because development does not suddenly stop.

Great, that's what I thought because I saw on the play store "update" and not new version so let's go thank you for this precision

@Con-Hennekens I did what was suggested and it worked as @Corjan-Meijerink said. Does not make it wrong.
