False information about closed roads
-
Hi,
I was in Frankfurt for the bike race classics "Eschborn-Frankfurt". When I arrived one day before, all streets that are used for the race were already close in the here map, even if you could use them.
It was almost impossible to reach the hotel on the planned route.
In this case, there should be two options.
Firstly, it should be possible to switch off this traffic information so that the route can still be used normally!
Or you should be able to see the original route despite the displayed closures so that you can still use it.I know that is depending on Here, but is there possibility to ignore that?
With the TomTom Rider 5xx there was a trick for this, you could restart the TT without traffic information.

@Jörgen
Jörgen,
I believe, all the different Navigation systems fixed in cars or via Apps can not solve every wishes and requirements. For a lot of comsumers the information are to less for others to much or not responsible.On the other hand, there are legal requirements or liability rules which the offerer have to follow not to get in conflict with custumers and their loyals, you know US rights.
I know from other foren, that in case of restrictions shown on navis even then on the road for sample in areas of road construction of only visuble few hundred meters bikers ignore such signs and recommend this. But then it is their problem.
That HERE now the day before take a restriction in the map traffic data which is not valid at this time is distressed, but what can MRA do which is best for all, see my concerns at the beginning.
At the end we have to accept that navigation is a helper nothing else.
And may as you now, level 5 automotive driving everywhere is meanwhile a bit down from the euphoria by the automotive industry.
The multiplicitiy we have on road traffic is not comparable to the variation in the sky traffic control and on sea, which is by the way 100 % supported by human supervision with radar and radio.
