1st route navigation test
-
I setup a route that I travel often and drove it yesterday to see how it worked. The route I setup had a couple of turns that made a lot of sense that I hadn't taken before. I checked out the streets on Google maps street view to make sure that I wasn't travelling in a direction that would mess me up. About 20 miles into the route I make an unscheduled stop that took me about 1 block off my route. After the stop I proceeded back to the route and navigation picked up right where it left off. About a mile before my turn as mapped, the navigation directed me to take a left turn unexpectedly. I ignored the command and proceeded the way I normally would go expecting the navigation to make a left turn, which it did and then go about 3 blocks an d a right to the way I originally planned. I didn't tell me to make the right turn and instead took me the way I normally go. After that point the route didn't stay on the planned route through the next several miles until it reached the only logical route to my destination.
All that being said, should I have restarted the route after my unplanned stop?
