I co-edit routes with my friend and although it's slightly frustrating that we can't truly collaborate on a single route. (User 1 creates a route, user 2 wants to make changes, User 1 shares through friends, Group or Events. User 2 has to download a copy therefore two versions of the route now exist). We generally work round this now however something we discovered at the weekend is how the level of detail achievable in the Waypoint table on the right of the screen differs with different screen resolutions. If your screen resolution isn't set high enough (mine is 1920 x 1080 = OK, my friend's is 1280 x 1024 = Not OK) then some of the detail is lost. For example, I added stop pauses which showed up in red against the relevant WP on my screen whereas my friend opened the route and the pauses were not showing. The width of the WP table is fixed, so you can't just increase to accommodate for lower resolution screens. We also tried an iPad and Mobile phone and neither were able to display the pauses correctly.

RE: Slight route differences between Sat Nav devices
I guess the only solution is forcing the route by adding more and more shaping waypoints.

@Nick-Carthew I use an Android so I'm oblivious to the iPhone experience

Slight route differences between Sat Nav devices
Is there a difference the way a route is calculated between Sat Navs? Multiple riders used the identical route edited in MRA, edited as TomTom, compared with HERE & Open Street maps, everything was checked and double checked, differences and errors were corrected
While on the TomTom Rider 550 user was directed on an unnecessary detour while other users (older TomTom Rider, Garmin Zumo XT and TomTom GO) were routed faithfully to the MRA route.
Is there a setting on the TomTom rider 550 that could have meant that it interpreted the route differently? Why were they the only rider that was sent on this detour?

RE: Exporting to TomTom Go on a iPhone.
I have had problems when transferring Routes via TomTom MyDrive and syncing with TomTom Go... The route doesn't always appear in TomTom GO My Routes Menu first time, it seems that you have to un-sync the route in MyDrive and re-sync it again. It works for me.

RE: Frustrating MRA Navigation App - tries to navigate me back to the start if I stop.
This wouldn't be an issue if the App was stable, reliable and didn't reset the route numerous times during a ride. I will continue to use TomTom Go app until I can be confident that these issues have been fixed, fingers crossed that the new version of the MRA Navigation App is an improvement on the current build.

RE: Frustrating MRA Navigation App - tries to navigate me back to the start if I stop.
@Kudee I will be using the app again on a tour this coming weekend so I will use the route option navigate to closest WP or specific WP # and load the maps into TomTom Go as a back up

@Hans-van-de-Ven-MRA-Master No, often it's me removing the phone from the mount with the app still running and turning the display off while it's either in my pocket of in storage

Frustrating MRA Navigation App - tries to navigate me back to the start if I stop.
It's maybe that I'm doing something wrong when planning a route in MRA planner. But when I navigate any route but stop at a waypoint (shaping point) or an unscheduled stop, the route recalculates and tries to navigate me back to the Start Point. I have to pull over and using the Navigation app I edit the route by deleting all the waypoints I have already passed. Very frustrating and I end up having to import the route into the TomTom app and select drive to nearest point option when starting.

RE: Is it possible to plan a walking route that doesn't rely on following roads
It was more related to being able to plan a walking route and to get an idea of distance and timing and to look at the Route Track whilst on the walk to see if I'm deviating off course... I appreciate that my needs might go beyond the capabilities of the app, it's not a deal breaker, just my curiosity is it possible?

Is it possible to plan a walking route that doesn't rely on following roads
Is it possible to plan a walking route that doesn't force you to stick to roads, effectively cutting across parks, fields, following footpaths etc

RE: What am I doing wrong with Route Tracking
@Hans-van-de-Ven-MRA-Master I checked the tracker once on the out leg and it appeared to be recording the route fine. It wasn't until I completed the trip and I finished the track when it showed the straight line A to B track

What am I doing wrong with Route Tracking
Hi, I start a route track on my Android App and let it run in the background while using TomTom Go App. On Route I check that the route tracking is working and all seems fine. After a brief stop at my destination I return home. The round trip was around 125 miles. When I get home I check on the Tracker and it shows an A to B straight line route from home to the destination. This has happened twice. I have tested on shorter routes and it works fine. At what point does it abandon the route detail and revert to A-B straight line
What I did
What the Tracker recorded

Hello From new user from Norwich UK - Link Sharing Question
Hi, when I share a link what is the recipient of the link able to do as a registered user? Do they only get View only access to the routes. Can I share access to my routes that allows them to be co-edited?
