I saw in another thread that Favorites are no longer supported since developers consider them a form of POI. While that might be technically true, as a user, I really miss being able to add places to my Favorites list. The list is still prominently featured in the app, so removing this function feels like a step backward from what was promised. Am I missing something here? Please bring back the Favorites feature!"

And more: now you can sort and structure your favorites in folders and groups. Managing und use of favorites are now similar to POIs.
