I'm just playing with the new web, and I first tried to plan a route, the one I know perfectly well, and I just found a problem, surely is some settings that I don't have quite right, the route planner keeps taking me out from the main road ( in the green circle), even when I try to put my waypoints on the dead centre of the road, moves them to where he thinks there's a road, in fact waypoint 4 is a street.
Maybe it's not a problem of settings maybe is a problem of using the wrong map.

The village is Ascara in the north of Spain, (Aragonese Pyrenees) in case you want to try.

These kind of discrepancies were also visible in the old planner, when you used a different overlay on a different base map. The new planner uses MapTiler maps always, regardless of the calculation engine, so these things will happen where there are larger differences between them.
