The separate Link and Copy choices are useful, and folder downloading worked well: the copied route retained all eight waypoint positions and the full riding line exactly.

I used Club routes → Add route → select a test route → Copy. The source had three route POIs and a stop at Cheriton House with a Photo icon and a 45-minute pause.

After opening and reloading the independent Club copy, I found:

The three POIs were absent.

The pause was zero instead of 45 minutes, reducing the total from 1h18 including stops to 33 minutes.

The Photo icon had become “No icon”. The note at that stop was retained.

The original remained unchanged. I then added it to the same folder using Link and downloaded the folder with POIs enabled. The linked route’s GPX contained all three POIs; the copied route’s GPX contained none.

That suggests the POI omission occurs during Copy rather than downloading. Link may provide an alternative where keeping the original as the maintained source is appropriate; I have only checked this as the Club owner.

Should Copy retain the route POIs, pause times and waypoint icons, or is there another step I should use? Keeping those details would be particularly useful when preparing an independent Club ride with planned stops.

I have retained the test routes, interface records and GPX comparisons if useful.
