@John-Parry-0 Generally nowadays, apps will auto-update unless you go out of your way to stop them updating. If you're in doubt, there's no harm in visiting the app store (whichever one you use), search for the app (MRA, MyRoute-app, etc whatever you want type!) and it will say whether there's an update available: 'Open' = no update, 'Update' = update available. Or watch this forum for fresh release information.

@Corjan-Meijerink said in Navigation menu color.: @Maicro it’s not really a limitation. If you set the theme to dark (or your phone preferred theme is dark and the app is in automatic) it will choose that dark theme Quite some users simply prefer the dark theme mode with light maps (those are responsive to tunnels / night time driving if set so) Thanks!

@FrankS In the web-app you do see that menu in the left column. When you open en existing route you can change the Transport mode. [image: 1694457071394-scherm-afbeelding-2023-09-11-om-20.29.22.png]

I agree totally with the point about the font size in the next turn box. It is way too small, especially for those spectacle wearers among us. It should take no more than 1/3 second to see exactly how far I have to go to my next turn but the font is way too small. Glance down, peer, squint - look at the road for heaven's sake!!! Try again...but of course the distance has changed so even though I got an idea of the numbers the last time, now I am starting again. And I should be watching where I am riding. And then suddenly I'm on it and going too fast. The road description and number at the top is almost irrelevant to me, the most important thing is which way do I turn and in what distance. That, for me (and everyone I ride with) is the single most important piece of information on the screen and it should be the largest piece of information and the most easily seen and understood.

@Chris-Whitehurst, which platform? I would suggest a de-install and re-install of the app. On Android you can choose to delete cache and storage in de app-settings of the OS.

@Corjan-Meijerink What a relief! ️ Can I request the ++ setting to simply offset all zoom levels? I.e. getting the same amount of additional zoom, relative to the max zoom set by the -- - -+ + or ++ setting?

@Stanisław Agreed, the TomTom route bar with fuel station distances marked is one of it's best features. Ideally I'd like to see the next 3 stations on the route, with the option to set a distance (radius) from the current location and see all fuel stations

@Neil-Bartlett Well you perhaps have not used Apple Maps for a while if you have never seen the speed display at the top. See my screen shot from work the other night and note the speed roundel at the top;[image: 1693833693845-img_0391.png]

@Johan-Rasenberg The navigation module in MyRoute-app uses the HERE map. It doesn’t matter what brand of phone you have.

@Corjan-Meijerink said in IMPLEMENT API TO MAKE MRA PRIMARY NAV APP: We already support this on Android. If you highlight / select an address, the MyRoute-app will pop up as suggestion. Wow, did not know, nice! It works from the selection context menu. Pitiful not from the Route button in a google search result (but that I knew).

@FrankS thanks for asking. 1: No, it is not visible. We do not have it publicly available mainly due to consistency reasons. Roadmaps tend to be posted and become outdated creating more confusion than clarity. Personally, I am not against making it public. 2: No, we rarely have feature specific votes. It really comes down to hype about requests on the beta forum (and non-beta if relevant). Then it's up to me to schedule some time to implement. Quite often small requests can be implemented same day / week (such as a request before current release to make long route names better visible). The timing of the request, my personal approval, some free time, no real impact on work load and above all no required extended testing resulted in it being implemented almost immediately. It's not that I'm against explicit voting or continuously sharing our roadmap. It's just that it takes time to manage and I would need to manage that. More community management, less time to code That's my honest answer (as are all my answers on this forum hahah). The little staff we have needs to be allocated very efficiently to keep our output at the current level.

I have an iPhone 14 pro Max and with the Beta version, I never had a problem with overheating or lack of charge with the Quadlock wireless charge, even on long, all day rides. Not yet tried the current version on a long ride but don't expect that to have changed. My reason for the comment is to say, make sure to add the QL vibration damper to the system to save camera issues.

[image: 1692815621394-scherm-afbeelding-2023-08-23-om-20.31.27.png]
